The VSN200 2x2 optical node provides operators a 1 GHz upgrade and segmentation solution for the installed base of SG2000 and SG2440 legacy node locations. Featuring high level Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology, the VSN200 easily maintains existing 750 and 870 MHz design levels. Forward and return segmentation provides immediate relief for capacity, including the option for conserving fiber with multi-wavelength passives and/or 2X TDM digital return technology. Pro-active node health monitoring is available with the optional DOCSIS transponder.
