The SE-6400/6600 supports standard definition (SD) and high definition (HD) encoding and transcoding for satellite, cable and IPTV applications. This high-performance video processing platform supports MPEG-4 SD and HD encoding and transcoding and has been designed to meet future processing demands of both 1080P/50Hz and 1080P/60Hz resolutions.

Advanced pre-processing, utilizing perceptual video processing (PVP) technology, complements the advanced compression algorithms to deliver exceptional video quality.

Flexible input options simplify headend architectures, reduce box count and increase reliability as well as reduce capital and operational costs.
