The 2247-N8 combines an ADSL2+ modem, four-port 10/100Base-T Ethernet switch, and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi access point in to one stylish and convenient package—making it the perfect networking solution for the home, home office, or small business. This full-featured gateway supports Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM), assures advanced Quality of Service (QoS) for Wi-Fi delivery of Voice-over-IP (VoIP), IPTV, and streaming broadcast-quality video. With four 10/100 Base-T Ethernet ports, the 2247-N8 can be used to setup a custom home network to share a printer, data, music, and video files using wired or Wi-Fi connectivity.

The 2247-N8 also features Motorola’s legendary ease of use, reliability, and security, and it offers automated provisioning capabilities. On the first connection to the network, the 2247-N8 gateway can be configured to automatically “phone home” to the service provider. Enabling automated service provisioning, embedded software updates, and service activation–all without subscriber intervention. For installations that are not configured for automated provisioning, the intuitive installation wizard guides even novice users through easy-to-follow set-up instructions.
