Delivering fiber to your customer's doorstep shouldn't mean abandoning existing investments in headend, network and customer premises infrastructure. It shouldn't require an overhaul to your operational and billing systems, either. Motorola CablePON solutions provide a responsible path for cable operators to deploy competitive, fiber-based residential and commercial service offerings, while evolving to the all-fiber network.

Cable PON for Commercial Services

Motorola offers Cable PON solutions that support Fiber-to-the-Premises (FTTP) service delivery. The AXS2200 and the AXS1800 Optical Line Terminals (OLTs) are designed to provide a full range of high-speed, fiber-fed voice, data and video services to residential and commercial customers using the power of Gigabit Passive Optical Networking (PON).

Motorola also offers a full suite of Optical Network Terminals (ONTs) designed for commercial accounts, which bridge the gap between the PON and the enterprise. For smaller enterprise networks, operators can leverage the existing DOCSIS® infrastructure to provide business-class services.

The BSR 64000 CMTS aggregates DOCSIS traffic flows for routing across the metropolitan network. It can establish secure Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) using MultiProtocol Label Switching (MPLS) or virtual LANs using the 802.1 Q standard, and it can also be used in the small office or home office, so operators can easily leverage existing HFC infrastructure investments to support small business users.

Drawing on more than 80 years of innovation heritage, Motorola is helping people realize the promise of convergence by fusing innovative technology with human insights to create experiences that simplify, connect and enrich people's lives.
