Consumers’ TV-centric entertainment options are getting a major boost in performance and capability with two new product launches from Motorola Mobility today. Subscribers can now watch live TV on a tablet anywhere around the home, whether they are cooking in the kitchen or relaxing in the backyard with Media Streamer. They can also personalize their TV viewing across multiple devices anywhere in the home with the Medios Xperience platform.
These services are highly anticipated by consumers as we heard during a recent series of focus groups in the New York and Los Angeles metro areas. Consumers expressed a desire to more easily find and better organize content, such as TV shows and movies. They also wanted greater flexibility for when, how and where TV is consumed, such as the ability to stream live shows to any device in the home. Lastly, they would like improved access to supplementary content so that viewers can quickly access news and gossip about their favorite shows and actors.
