VimpelCom’s Beeline IPTV customers could soon be the beneficiaries of a new implementation of set tops from Motorola. Enhanced media experiences such as personal video recording, time shifting, electronic programming guides, and HD content will soon be made possible through the implementation of Motorola’s VIP22n2E series of set tops.
Motorola’s VIP22n2E set tops were designed with customers like Beeline in mind: VimpelCom’s youth-orientated arm that offers fun and innovative mobile and broadcast services to customers in Russia. These services, in addition to multi-room functionality, on-demand content and Internet via the TV, will also help VimpelCom to boost their existing subscriber base.
VimpelCom is one of the world’s largest integrated telecommunications services, and is an existing Motorola customer. This new commitment further expands the co-operation between the two companies and reflects Motorola’s commitment and focus in Russia.
